RGT Integrated Projects Ltd. prefers to work as the Construction Manager for clients, taking pride in working collaboratively with
our clients and on their behalf. We integrate the services of well-matched professionals, bringing projects to fruition from pre-construction
through to completion within, or under budget and on time. In this capacity RGT serves as the client’s adviser and agent, providing
site management, administrative and technical services solely for the benefit of the client and in the support of client’s best interests.
Our fee is fixed at the start of the contract so there are NO SURPRISES for the client.
Our Construction Management approach differs from more traditional forms of construction. For example, in the stipulated price contract method, the client tenders the complete project under a single contract. The bidding contractor submits a bid price based on estimates from trades contractors, material suppliers etc. and adds on dollar amounts for his fixed costs (site supervision and costs, insurance etc) and amounts for profit and contingencies and so on that are generally not revealed or shown to the client. Our approach differs in that all contingencies are shown; and RGT as the Construction Manager , receives a set fee that is known and agreed to up front. . In addition, we deal with change orders and alterations in a different manner than a traditional contractor. We do not receive notable additional fees for changes while typically a traditional contractor might realize substantial additional profits as a result of the change orders. Directly stated, a contractor’s profit margin is normally in the 15% – 20% range. The Construction Manager’s fee for RGT is only 4%
